Security Officer Foot Patrol

A Security Officer Foot Patrol in Elkridge, MD will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics and distribution.

• Position Type: Part Time
• Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour
• Schedule: Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM;
  Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and policies and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document details, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, trailer yards, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, damaged gates, or other security concerns.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing freight movement, reporting policy violations or hazards, and maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required; a valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
