As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.

* Support daily operations by observing dock areas, high-traffic zones, and restricted spaces, reporting policy violations, damaged property, and/or operational disruptions to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
