Hiring a Commercial Electrician Out of the Hagerstown, MD Area- $60 Prevailing Wage
This role offers an opportunity for an experienced commercial electrician to work on large-scale projects based out of Hagerstown, Maryland. You will install and maintain electrical systems in a variety of commercial environments, performing tasks such as conduit installation, wiring, panel installation, and lighting upgrades, while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, bend, and secure electrical conduit to support commercial electrical systems.
- Pull and terminate electrical wire in accordance with blueprints and electrical codes.
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical panel boxes and related distribution equipment.
- Install LED lighting systems, MC cable, receptacles, and associated electrical devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to complete work accurately and efficiently.
- Work both indoors and outdoors as required by project scope and schedule.
- Use personal electrical tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete daily tasks.
Essential Skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician.
- Proficiency in bending and installing conduit in commercial environments.
- Ability to install and wire LED lighting, MC cable, receptacles, and panel boxes.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical drawings.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract position based out of Hagerstown, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
