* JOB TITLE:

** Low Voltage Technician
** GENERAL

SUMMARY:

** Low Voltage Technician will be responsible to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems for commercial business.  They will have hands-on experience with security cameras, access control systems, structured cabling, and related low-voltage technologies.

* PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Install, program, test, and maintain CCTV/security camera systems.
* Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and service calls for existing low-voltage systems.
* Install and terminate low-voltage cabling.
* Configure and troubleshoot network-connected security devices and NVR/DVR systems.
* Install access control, intercom, alarm, and related electronic security systems.
* Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Ensure all installations comply with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
* Document work performed, service reports, and customer communications.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a professional manner.## Qualifications
** MINIMUM

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

*** Previous experience in low-voltage installation and service is a plus.
* Working knowledge of CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and IP-based security systems.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing and switches.
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments.
