Position Description Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, Maryland — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly- Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
- Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
- Schedule:
(B shift):
Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - (must be willing to work overtime and on weekends)

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble‑shooting
- Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
- Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
- Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
- Experience operating forklift equipment required
- Equipment certification may be required
Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Performs maintenance and trouble‑shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
- Maintains and trouble‑shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
- Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
- Performs routine forklift repairs
- Maintains batteries and related equipment
- Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
- If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
- Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
