Position Description Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, Maryland — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  (B shift):
  Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
• (must be willing to work overtime and on weekends)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble‑shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment required
• Equipment certification may be required

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Performs maintenance and trouble‑shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble‑shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
