As part of our Facilities Engineering team, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Under the guidance of the Facilities Engineering Supervisor, you will perform inspection, repair, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of building finishes and grounds. This includes applying paints, sealers, varnishes, stains, and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces, as well as refinishing furniture and equipment.
You will also plan and record daily work assignments and maintain schedules for preventive maintenance in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Trade or vocational coursework in related skills is welcomed. Working knowledge of the painting trade is preferred. - Experience:
At least three years of professional painting experience in a facilities, construction, or maintenance setting. - Licensure/Certification:
- If operating Meritus vehicles:
Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting policy requirements. Annual certified driving record required. - If using a personal vehicle:
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle, with acknowledgment of insurance requirements per policy.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage tasks efficiently.
