Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Software Engineer to join our high-performing Cyber Missions team in Annapolis Junction,ийәт MD. In this role, you will contribute to mission‑critical software solutions that support national security, working alongside experienced engineers in a mature, Agile development environment.
As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing robust Java‑based applications. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software while helping guide technical decisions and best practices. This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact while working on challenging and meaningful cyber missions.
Our team follows Agile methodologies to plan, track, and manage requirements and development activities, enabling continuous improvement and rapid delivery. Ad‑hoc telework is available on an "as tasking allows" basis, aligned with current sprint needs.

- Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
- 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, complexity, and mission focus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience developing, debugging, and testing software applications
- Working knowledge of Git Lab, Maven, JIRA, and Confluence
Target Salary Range: $146,000 – $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
