Embedded Developer

As an embedded software engineer, you will create and maintain crucial pieces of software, writing and optimizing code that bridges systems to enable communication. You will support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients, using the latest tools and technology to write, test, and edit code in support of the team’s overall results. You will strengthen your skills by developing and reverse engineering software that supports hardware functionality across a wide range of devices and configuring solutions based on the platform.

You will partner with team leadership to troubleshoot and correct operational issues and collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to ensure software security.

• 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications with an understanding of the broader ecosystem and technical environment.
• 2+ years of experience with C/C++.
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting embedded software that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, and optimizing code based on the platform.
• Experience with embedded software languages and products.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products.
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross‑functional team.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• HS Diploma or GED.

• 5+ years of experience with embedded software languages and products such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Reverse Engineering, Embedded Platforms, Android iOS, Swift, Wind River VxWorks, IDA Pro, Olly Dbg, or Gdb Debugger.
• Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $ per year in our lowest market up to $ per year in our highest market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, sign‑on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total package, in addition to a full range of paid medical, financial, and other benefits.
