Enterprise - Software Engineer - Python, Django, MongoDB

Job Overview

Erias Ventures seeks a Software Engineer for the Secure the Enterprise initiative, developing automation, streamlined processes, and continuous monitoring to replace the existing manual security evaluation and authorization process.

• Provide development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of Python‑based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities using Django and Flask, interacting with Maria

  SQL and sending data in JSON to UI front‑ends.
• Provide middleware and backend support to all system applications.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Recommend improvements to documentation and software development process standards.
• Design, code, or modify software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Analyze system performance standards, collaborate with users or system engineers, examine data usage and work processes, and investigate problem areas.
• Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance.

A current Top‑Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

• Seven (7) years as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university; or four (4) years additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Erias Ventures provides a comprehensive package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. Salary range: $185,000 – $205,000.
