Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.

Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operational support of the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) component of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE). The CCE provides secure, multi-tenant, high‑performance, and highly available Kubernetes clusters operating within a Linux-based infrastructure. The role ensures platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance in support of mission and application requirements.

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least eight years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• Five years full‑time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and at least eight years of demonstrable experience.
• An industry‑recognized professional certification may substitute for one year of experience.
• A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two years of experience.

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman.
• Demonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.).
• Experience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible.
• Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm charts.
• Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration.

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Experience working in a Dev Ops environment that uses Agile principles and methodologies.
• Experience with or willingness to learn development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.).

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
• Up to 20% 401(k) contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day
