Position Summary
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day and maintain the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Comply with company, state and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.
- Exhibit trust and integrity; display a positive, humble attitude.
- Demonstrate servant leadership and support diverse perspectives.
- Work independently and on a team; lead, execute, delegate and collaborate as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.

- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Remain standing approximately 90% of the time.
- Continuously move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job sites.
- Unload and load materials from flatbed or boom, often weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Work outside while making deliveries.
- Communicate accurately with management and coworkers.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress according to customer’s deadline.
- Multitask and receive information and directions.
- Communicate solutions promptly when problems occur.
- Demonstrate sound judgment.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $0.00 to $25.00 per hour. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
