Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate

Location:

Hagerstown, Maryland.

Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate. The position is paid weekly and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

• Hourly Pay: $23.45
• Additional Pay: $1.50 shift premium
• Schedule:
  
  Third Shift, Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:30 am

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience with SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self‑driven in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
• Multi‑task, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
• Intermediate PC skills in MS Office
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP and WMS
• Safety–Sensitive Position; may require equipment operation and certification

• Check truck drivers in and out
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according to warehouse direction and vendor assignment
• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation; partner with the inventory department to resolve issues
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
• Update required reports promptly
• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Perform other duties as assigned
