Warehouse Pallet Recovery Team

Overview

Ryder is hiring a Full Time Warehouse Pallet Recovery Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform duties within the contract’s performance measurement guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision and to take initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules; health and safety conscious.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

• Hourly pay: $21.00 per hour; location premium $1.00 per hour; shift premiums: $1.00 per hour for second shift and $1.50 per hour for third shift.
