Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Full Time Warehouse Pallet Recovery Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland. Weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
Location Premium for position: $1.00 per hour
Shift premium: $1.00 per hour for second shift, $1.50 per hour for third shift

Schedules:

• First Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Second Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Third Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player able to work in a diverse work environment
• Ability to build professional relationships across all levels of the organization
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with a good attendance record
• Minimal supervision required
• High initiative
• Accurate even under pressure
• Lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Stand for long periods
• Follow health and safety methods
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
