Position Overview
Ryder is hiring a Full Time Warehouse Pallet Recovery Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland. Weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & SchedulesHourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
Location Premium for position: $1.00 per hour
Shift premium: $1.00 per hour for second shift, $1.50 per hour for third shift
Schedules:
- First Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Second Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Third Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to build professional relationships across all levels of the organization
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with a good attendance record
- Minimal supervision required
- High initiative
- Accurate even under pressure
- Lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Stand for long periods
- Follow health and safety methods
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
