Lifetime Brands is looking for machine operators to work in our brand new Distribution Center located in Hagerstown, MD.

A Material Handler II operates various light industrial vehicles and/or RF devices to perform material handling assignments such as picking bulk orders, loading/unloading, and shipping/receiving of merchandise.

• Operate powered light industrial trucks to move product to and from designated areas in the warehouse.
• Follow daily procedures & protocols as set forth in job orientations and training.
• Review orders and place them within the appropriate areas as directed by the vehicle mounted computer manifest.
• Operate a scissor lift at a height of 35 feet above the ground to label racks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks before each use and complete the inspection card.
• Perform general housekeeping duties such as removal of empty skids and stacking them in designated areas.
• Return the equipment to the correct charging station and prepare for daily overnight charge at the end of each shift.
• Follow all safety regulations required by OSHA and Company.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education: High School or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-4 years operating light industrial equipment.
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Certification on electric jack, sit‑down forklift, order picker, and/or reach; experience with WMS a plus.
• Working Conditions: Distribution Center. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, pull and push for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Other Skills/Abilities: Ability to satisfactorily complete equipment driving training program; listen, communicate effectively; follow specific instructions; work independently and complete assignments within given parameters.
