Warehouse Material Handler Reach Truck Operator

Position

Material Handler – Hagerstown, MD. Ryder offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour for third shift
• Schedule:
  
  Third Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:30 am

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
• Initiative and accuracy, even under pressure
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Adherence to health and safety methods
• Flexible schedule across shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading
• Handle paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
