Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Management System/Wave Planner in Hagerstown, MD— offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Hourly Pay: $23.45 per hour.

Schedule:

First Shift B Shift Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Warehouse positions pay each week.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel). Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that consistently meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor.
• Work closely with the inventory department and on‑site personnel to resolve problems with the day's orders.
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
