Location: Hagerstown, MD
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour
Schedules Available:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Sunday-Tuesday or Thursday-Saturday
  • Both shifts work every other Wednesday

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of prior experience operating powered industrial equipment
  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
  • Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Job Duties

  • Operate powered industrial trucks to retrieve and move products throughout the facility
  • Use center riders, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently
  • Prepare products for shipping and distribution
  • Load, unload, and transport materials as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines
  • Maintain accuracy while handling inventory and orders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
  • Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
  • Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do

As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.
