Residential And Commercial Painter

Sawtooth Wood Products is hiring a Professional Painter to join our team working on high-end residential and exterior projects throughout the Wood River Valley. We are looking for an experienced painter who takes pride in clean, detailed work and understands the importance of preparation, professionalism, and quality craftsmanship. Projects include exterior staining, log home refinishing, deck staining, fence painting, railings, and residential painting work.

This position is ideal for someone who works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and wants consistent work with a respected local company.

• Prepare surfaces for painting and staining including sanding, masking, scraping, and cleaning
• Apply paints, stains, and finishes to exterior wood surfaces, fences, decks, railings, and log structures
• Perform detailed finish work with a high level of quality
• Protect surrounding areas and maintain clean job sites
• Operate painting equipment and tools safely
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Maintain materials, tools, and equipment
• Follow company quality and safety standards

• Professional painting experience required
• Experience with exterior staining and wood finishes preferred
• Experience with log home staining or restoration is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and finish quality
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated
• Ability to work independently and with a team

$22 - $26 hourly
