Coordinator for Violence Against Women Initiatives

Become the Coordinator for the Temiskaming District Violence Against Women Coordinating Committee hosted by Pavilion Women’s Centre. This part-time position emphasizes organizational skills and community engagement.

In this role, you'll spend up to 12 hours per week coordinating operations and administrative tasks while also engaging in community outreach. Your contributions will be essential in helping women and children access necessary resources and services. Your experience in non-profit services will enhance the collaborative efforts within the committee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and collaborate with finance staff

• Promote TDVAWCC work through community education

• Develop and nurture partnerships with local agencies

• Oversee program documentation and reporting

• Engage actively in team meetings and program evaluations

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline

• Experience in social justice advocacy

• Valid driver’s license for transportation

• Bilingual English and French preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tools
