Experienced Field Mechanic

Position: Experienced Field Mechanic Wanted
Join Boart Longyear in Haileybury, Ontario as an Experienced Field Mechanic. Utilize your mechanical skills to repair and maintain drilling equipment in a diverse working environment.

This role requires thorough knowledge of troubleshooting and adjusting drilling equipment. As a Field Mechanic, you will diagnose faults, repair defective parts, and ensure all equipment meets safety standards. You will also coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check equipment performance and detect any malfunctions

• Diagnose repair needs and carry out necessary adjustments

• Use hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance

• Test equipment to verify it is functioning correctly

• Perform routine maintenance across various machinery

Requirements:

• Millwright or Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trade Certification

• Completion of secondary school education

• 3+ years of mechanical experience in a related field

• Valid driver’s license and submission of driver’s abstract

• Standard First Aid certification preferred
