Job TitleThis position will produce AutoCAD drawings and material lists that represents the proper use of Trekker's products. She/he will provide technical assistance to the sales team. She/he reports directly to the FSD Technical Group Leader. This position requires an extensive amount of drafting, take-off and equipment list review.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCore duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assures that all Trekker's drawings indicate proper use of Trekker's FSD provided equipment.
- Assures accurate equipment lists for quotations and shipments to the site in accordance with the project schedule.
- Produces safe, economical and efficient designs.
- Utilizes available inventory to provide formwork & shoring layouts in accordance with project requirements.
- Ensures that the work is designed with available inventory and in compliance with contractual guidelines.
- Ensures safe working practices and a safe working environment.
- Works with FSD Sales Team to provide pre-bid drawings and proposals.
- Must keep informed and up date with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Observes the company's safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.
- All other duties related to the position and other requested by supervisor.

Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or minimum (2) years formwork & shoring experience.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of current AUTOCAD software, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
