Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking a Gatehouse Operator. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. • Record live weights of all inbound and outbound loads accurately.
• Understand data flow through the supply chain and database systems.
• Operate the scale system, ensuring accurate reporting and effective communication with transportation drivers and management.
• Maintain accuracy of data in the scale program, including transportation, processing, billing, and reporting.
• Keep detailed and accurate records for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles and pedestrians.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear, efficient communication with staff and drivers.
• Use telephones, radios, and other communication tools effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around scales to ensure accurate readings.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, quality and procedure manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
