Position: Travel Operations Specialist with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Travel Operations Specialist to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Plans and directs daily activities associated with making travel reservations, issuing tickets, and providing travel information to passengers.

* Monitor travel progress to ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and verify that all travel arrangements meet safety benchmarks.

* Implement training programs for staff on the use of specialized reservation equipment and coordinate with external vendors for large-scale group movements.

* Manages the execution of theater entry and travel tasks for Special Operations personnel in the Pacific AOR.

* Evaluate Regional Travel Status Reports to prioritize flight schedules and ensure the timely arrival of mission-critical staff.

* Lead the coordination of local Administrative Teams to resolve complex processing issues affecting theaterwide readiness and command operations.

* Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma

* 10+ years of position-relevant experience

* Experience in formal document approval and quality gate oversight

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's degree or a related field.

* Certification in Government travel management

* Knowledge of Aircraft Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) and Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP) protocols.

Clearance Required:

* Must hold an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
