Senior Accountant
Location: Halethorpe, MD (On-Site)
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 Base Salary + 10% Bonus

- Own and perform complex bank, balance sheet, and operational reconciliations
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and identify root causes
- Prepare and analyze journal entries and supporting schedules
- Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Evaluate current accounting processes and recommend improvements
- Help optimize Excel-based workflows and reporting tools
- Support ongoing Power BI, automation, and AI-driven initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency
- Assist leadership with special projects and process transformation efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting or audit experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end close, and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large data sets
- Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes
- Experience with Power BI, automation tools, or financial systems enhancements is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
