Position SummaryThe Cabinet Assembler is responsible for the complete assembly process of a cabinet.
Responsibilities- Must comply with and promote a Safety‑First Culture.
- Place the frame, apply glue, staple panels, install toe kick, place shelves, install corner blocks, doors/skins, and load cabinet pallet for packaging.
- Inspect all parts for cleanliness and flaws; notify Mill team and order correct parts if needed.
- Inspect each completed item for accuracy and finished applications.
- Repair elements of cabinets that have been sent in for servicing.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by manager.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to meet deadlines, exhibit great attention to detail, communicate professionally and concisely. Understanding of standard business practices, problem solving in a rapid environment, client‑first attitude. Familiarity with cabinet fabrication terminology is highly preferred. Ability to use pneumatic tools, meet production quotas, work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications- 1‑2 years of cabinet manufacturing experience.
- Experience with pneumatic tools, saws, drills and hand tools.
- Ability to lift +50 lbs. regularly throughout the day.
- Read a tape measure to 1/32nd inch.
- Adhere to 5S principles and responsible for cabinet area housekeeping.
