The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising, leading, and mentoring employees in a manufacturing environment. The supervisor oversees overall production, delegates work assignments, and ensures key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Responsibilities include planning and assigning work, implementing policies, recommending improvements, and providing direct guidance to the manager.

• Provide organizational leadership to foster positive employee relations.
• Follow the production schedule and maintain level production throughout the area.
• Facilitate GEMBA walks and suggest improvements.
• Enforce safety practices, maintain a zero‑tolerance safety attitude, and uphold environmental regulations including 5S.
• Implement OC Doors Lean Management Systems.
• Participate in Tier meetings with senior leadership, gaining approval before implementing decisions or changes.
• Work with team leads to assign daily work duties to floor personnel.
• Monitor and adjust job assignments to maximize production efficiency.
• Coordinate with plant manager, supply chain, quality, and other supervisors to adjust production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and work in process.
• Make recommendations to improve production methods, increase equipment efficiency, improve material flow, and reduce waste.
• Lead problem‑solving efforts, analyze and resolve production issues through teamwork with quality, maintenance, and engineering.
• Maintain time and production records in Kronos daily.
• Maintain a harassment‑free work environment.
• Conduct employee evaluations within the set time frame.
• Work with team leads and trainers to determine training needs of employees.

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a team‑based Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field preferred, or a High School degree with 3‑5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment and a supervisory role.

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
• Skill in leading and motivating co‑workers.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose crises quickly.
• Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.
• Hands‑on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing process systems.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Leadership experience on projects of varying size and scope preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to train others.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, with strong leadership, supervisory, and people skills.
• Computer literacy with general skills in data entry and spreadsheets (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Prior exposure to Kronos as a time‑management tool is an asset.

• Ability to read and write.
• Regularly required to sit and/or stand for eight hours.
• Required to perform highly repetitive motions.
• Frequently required to walk, use hands to feel or handle, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Specific visual demands include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.

• Fluent in English.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
