Study Smart Tutors is looking for enthusiastic and engaging instructors, tutors, family facilitators, and educational consultants! We work with schools, non‑profits, and colleges to prepare first‑gen students for college and careers. Our work includes exam preparation, professional development for school staff, family workshops, and consulting.

Position: Part‑Time K‑5th Grade ELA Literacy Tutor (Half Moon Bay, CA) - Fall 2026

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.

• MUST hold a completed 4‑year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In‑person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours:
  Seeking availability Mondays through Fridays during/after school hours.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
