Special Education Teacher
Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students in PreK through 5th grade as a Special Education Teacher. Multiple positions are available for dedicated professionals seeking a contract opportunity during the school year. This role starts in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, providing a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours across five days each week. You'll be part of a committed team working to foster academic and social growth for students with diverse abilities.
Qualifications:- Valid teaching credential in Special Education (Mild/Moderate license required)
- Mod/Severe and Autism authorization or license preferred
- Experience working with PreK-5th grade students in a school-based setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to a range of learning needs
- Develop and maintain IEPs, track progress, and collaborate with other educators and families
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure every students success
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment focused on students growth and independence
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
