Mariners Church is a vibrant and welcoming community located in Half Moon Bay, dedicated to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ and making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families. With a congregation of approximately 200-250 active participants, the church serves as a beacon of hope in an unchurched area, fostering connections that reach beyond its walls.

Our weekly services are heavily focused on worship, praise, and the teachings of the Bible to become who God intends us to be.

At Mariners Church, our mission is to reach the unchurched people of the Coastside with the message of Jesus Christ and nurture authentic relationships, helping individuals and families grow in their faith while serving the community with love and grace.

Mariners Church envisions significant growth and transformation by 2030. Our goals include expanding our congregation to 500 members, developing youth and family ministries that inspire every person to encounter Jesus, and increasing participation in Life Groups from 30% to 75%. Additionally, we aspire to enhance our outreach efforts to neighboring communities, ensuring we reach unchurched families and individuals on the Coastside and foster a culture of openness where families can worship together and experience true community.

The church aspires to be more involved in outreach initiatives aimed at strengthening connections within the Coastside communities. Through various programs and activities, Mariners Church works to serve those in need, provide support to unchurched individuals, and create opportunities for fellowship and growth.

The contemporary worship experience at Mariners Church is characterized by enthusiasm and a spirit of praise, with an open door for everyone to “come as they are”. The format is simple: welcome, band‑led musical worship, message, and announcements. Our biblical teachings aim to inspire and deepen faith, ensuring that sermons resonate with the lives of the congregation.

Through compelling worship services, we strive to glorify God and cultivate an environment where individuals can experience spiritual growth and seek deeper connections within our ministries.

Mariners Church places a strong emphasis on youth and family ministries, recognizing the importance of nurturing the next generation in their faith journey.
