We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Electrical Utilities & Renewables team in Halifax, NS!

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Electrical Utilities & Renewables team to keep priorities aligned, information flowing, and commitments tracked. You will coordinate schedules, resourcing needs, internal workflows, and client-facing deliverables across the department, while supporting Project Managers (PMs) to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, action items, change orders, and other key project administration tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, organization, and proactive follow-through. You will work across multiple teams and service lines, supporting both internal coordination and external communications, while helping maintain consistent document management, reporting, and administrative processes that enable the department to deliver high-quality work. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining the flow of project documentation, making you an essential part of our project success.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate department priorities, schedules, and resourcing needs in partnership with team leads;

Monitor and influence day-to-day departmental communications to keep work moving and priorities clear across teams;

Plan and coordinate team meetings, workshops, and client touchpoints; prepare agendas, capture minutes/decisions, and track action items to completion;

Lead document control and SharePoint administration for the department; maintain templates, file structures, and version control, and support health and safety and quality documentation compliance;

Maintain department trackers and registers (e.g., deliverables, actions, correspondence, and key dates) to support consistent follow-up and reporting;

Support department financial administration (purchase orders, invoicing coordination, AP/AR follow-up, and cost tracking) and prepare periodic status reporting for leadership; and

Support proposal development with the technical team to meet client requirements.

Capabilities & Credentials

Post-secondary diploma or degree or equivalent education and experience;

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience (5+ years preferred) working in a technical project environment and an excellent understanding of project methodologies and administration;

Previous relevant experience in an engineering, consulting, or utilities services industry would be an asset;

Ability to adapt to changes and re-evaluate priorities, multi-task, and manage time wisely;

Strong organizational skills and personal systems in place that generate results;

Strong communication skills (written and spoken), including report writing and editing abilities; and

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project).
