The Clerk B is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the department in its communications with other departments and support to staff. The Clerk B must be able to handle multiple demands and priorities in a busy and unpredictable environment.
ABOUT YOU   Grade XII plus one-year related experience or graduate of a recognized one-year secretarial/business program
General office skills an asset
Experience working in a nursing unit environment is considered as asset
Experience in staffing processes and collective agreement knowledge is considered as asset
Demonstrated ability to remain calm during an emergency and deal with numerous interruptions and continuous changes is an asset
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making skills
Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset
HOURS  Permanent, full-time position; 70 hours bi-weekly
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS  $23.35 - $25.39 Hourly
