Location:
Canso Seaside Manor - Canso
- Prepares scheduling for the nursing department (RN’s, LPN’s & CCA's) andposts schedules for all other departments
- Replaces daily sick calls for Nursing department
- Provides clerical/front office support such as fielding general inquiries,relaying messages, and general correspondence answering phone callsefficiently and courteously, and transfers same as necessary. Ensuresdelivery of faxes, mail, internal memos and correspondences
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the Administrative Team.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Preferred knowledge of SSC program (Staff Scheduling Care) or similar software
- Must be reliable with a good attendance record
- Must be fully Vaccinated
- Team player with a professional and courteous manner
- Previous experience working in the Long Term Care setting an asset.
- Long-term care experience required
- Working knowledge of collective agreements
- Judgement and initiative
- Grade 12 high school or equivalent
- Graduate of post-secondary education with relevant certification
