Embark on a co-op journey with Irving Shipbuilding as a student in the AOPS Program Management team for Fall 2026. Gain hands-on experience in project coordination and reporting while ensuring AOPS vessels are ready for Sea Trials.
This role involves assisting in various administrative and operational tasks critical to the AOPS program's success. You will work alongside experienced professionals and engage with multiple departments, enhancing your skills in communication and organization. Your contributions will support the end-stage activities necessary for program delivery this fall.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate between production and customer for program tasks
• Execute process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Assist in developing KPIs, reporting, and training materials
• Communicate with stakeholders across Engineering and Production
• Prepare and complete team performance reports
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a 4-year program in Business or Engineering
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Support project management efforts while gaining invaluable maritime industry insights.
