Position: FERTILIZER SUPERVISOR (FULL-TIME)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be accountable to the Fertilizer Manager to provide operational excellence in all aspects.

Provide outstanding customer service and support on a consistent basis.

Receive and store inventory.

Fill requisitions, work orders or requests of customer and applicators.

Load product on trucks for delivery to branches and producers.

Operate all required machinery in a safe manner.

Maintain the facility grounds to meet all relevant standards and to ensure efficient operation of the facility.

Housekeeping duties.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of fertilizer/warehouse operation and previous experience preferred, but willing to train. Supervision and organizational skills. Must have valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. Ability to operate front end loader. Willingness to obtain all certifications and training as required. Willingness to work with customers and team. Farm Centre experience or farming background an asset. Able to work independently and participate in extended hours during peak season.

Able to perform heavy lifting. Position classified as a Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
