In this term role, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage a team of Procurement Specialists focused on delivering elite service under the Clinical (OR) portfolio. You will utilize your mentorship skills to guide your team through complex RFPs and contract negotiations while fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes client needs and results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support best practice standards for procurement operations
• Mentor specialists in contract negotiations and RFP processes
• Promote innovative procurement strategies for client projects
• Coordinate category plans, manage costs, and deliver savings
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree and 5 years’ experience in procurement
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects
• Expertise in public procurement and contract negotiations
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Canadian procurement laws and trade agreements
