As a Procurement Student, you will work in Halifax, Nova Scotia for four months starting September 2026. You will contribute to our team by:

• Helping in all aspects of the procurement process including Request for Quote, Purchase Orders, and Price Lists.
• Maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels and reporting shortages.
• Classifying, labeling, and warehousing inventory for future use.
• Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and locations for easy retrieval.
• Communicating with department managers and the purchasing team on inventory levels and locations.
• Maintaining a record of all transfers and disposals.
• Implementing and following a control system to reduce damage, breakage, and inventory obsolescence.
• Assisting the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming inventory purchases.
• Completing physical inventory counts as required and reconciling inventory records for accurate counts.

• Enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization at a post‑secondary institution.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good with numbers and highly detail oriented.
• Robust communication and customer service skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Strong computer skills.
• Prior knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.
