Business Development Analyst – Hybrid in Scarborough, ON (3 days/wk)
Compensation range: $68,000 – $91,000 annually
We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our growing Commercial team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially minded individual who thrives on turning data into insights and insights into action. As a key partner to the Sales and Business Development teams, you will identify growth opportunities, support the commercialization of new products and innovations, and help drive strategic decision‑making across the business.
Responsibilities- Develop commercial analytics and business insights by creating reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analyses that support sales strategy, customer planning, and business growth initiatives.
- Support sales planning, forecasting, and S&OP activities by partnering with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to provide demand insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support budgeting and annual planning processes.
- Facilitate CRM processes and data excellence by supporting the CRM vetting process, maintaining data integrity, enhancing reporting capabilities, and promoting CRM best practices across the Canadian business.
- Provide visibility into commercial performance through reporting and analytical tools that track business results, forecasting trends, pipeline activity, and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate product commercialization and launch activities by partnering with Commercial, Regulatory, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to support milestone completion and successful product launches.
- Support GS1 and product data initiatives by coordinating GTIN creation, maintaining product information, and ensuring customer data requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Contribute to commercial planning and strategic initiatives by preparing business reviews, presentations, account planning materials, and other resources that support decision‑making and business growth.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in sales analyst or sales planning role.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience working closely with sales team on execution and tracking of KPIs.
- Willingness to work onsite in Scarborough 3 days per week.
- 3+ years of experience working with CRM systems such as Blue Yonder forecasting tool in a business development or sales support capacity.
