Position: Full-Time Safety and Compliance Officer
Pursue a vital role as a Safety and Compliance Officer at Northern Lights School Division #113 in La Ronge. This full-time position focuses on ensuring safety standards and compliance across multiple school facilities.

In this essential role, you will conduct inspections of various facilities to guarantee compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations. As a Safety and Compliance Officer, your initiative will shape a safer environment for students and staff. The job requires extensive travel to 20 schools and various residential units, emphasizing the importance of effective safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect Division PAA shops for clean air and safe equipment

• Conduct compliance checks on National Building Code structures

• Regularly inspect playground equipment across all 20 schools

• Manage fire extinguisher inspections and replacements

• Correct OH&S violations with facility staff

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Carpenter or related technical certification

• Valid First Aid and CPR training

• Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Willingness to travel extensively
