NordSpace Health and Safety Lead

Take charge of health and safety as the Health and Safety Lead at Nord Space in Ontario. Shape safety policies and procedures in a cutting-edge aerospace R&D environment.

You will manage the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) functions h a strong track record in heavy industry, the role focuses on creating a proactive safety culture and ensuring regulatory adherence. Lead incident investigations and build effective safety programs tailored to aerospace developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee HSSE initiatives across facilities

• Establish workplace inspections and risk assessments

• Manage incident management processes and reporting

• Build effective relationships with regulatory agencies

• Drive security programs protecting sensitive data

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety

• 5+ years in HSSE management within heavy industry

• Deep knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and environmental laws

• Leadership experience in safety cultures

• Ability to engage with law enforcement and regulatory bodies
