Surety Underwriter Position

In this role, you will be responsible for the underwriting of new surety business and the assessment of financial statements. Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite applications for surety business against company criteria

• Assess financial strength of accounts for effective underwriting

• Negotiate surety bond issuance terms with stakeholders

• Monitor ongoing construction projects and associated risks

• Build new business through communication and relationship management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance

• Minimum 2-5 years in Surety, Finance, or Banking

• Strong organizational and analytical expertise

• Proficient user of Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
