About Us
pHathom is a climate technology company based in Atlantic Canada, developing a novel pathway for biomass carbon capture and marine storage (BECCMS) through Accelerated Weathering of Limestone (AWL). By capturing CO2 from coastal biomass plants and safely storing it in the ocean as stable bicarbonates, we are pioneering a durable, science‑led approach to carbon dioxide removal (CDR) that creates economic, environmental, and social value.

As a startup, pHathom is focused not only on advancing its technology, but also on building the business with the discipline, structure, and professionalism required for long‑term success. As the company grows, sound infrastructure, consistent practices, compliance, and financial rigor will be essential to supporting a sustainable path forward. The introduction of best practices, strong business systems, and a continued commitment to core values are key to pHathom's journey as both a technology innovator and a growing organization.
