We are searching for a Manager, Finance Operations – New Development (12 month contract) to join our team.
Reporting directly to the VP, Finance Strategy, the Manager, this role is responsible for translating financial pro forma assumptions into operational plans, leading financial governance through the infancy phase of a new development project, and ensuring alignment between financial expectations and operational execution.
Working closely with Operations, Asset Management, Sales, and Finance leadership, the Manager plays a key role in supporting occupancy, revenue, cost, and margin performance, while providing proactive analysis, scenario modeling, and decision support throughout construction, start-up, and stabilization phases.

Act as the financial lead for new development projects, supporting communities from approval through ramp-up and stabilizationTranslate pro forma assumptions into operating budgets, staffing models, and financial plansDevelop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support decision-makingAnalyze financial performance (variance, trends, key drivers) and recommend actions to achieve targetsPartner with Operations, HR, and Sales to support workforce planning, onboarding, and labour cost managementSupport budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational plans and company standardsProvide financial guidance during commissioning and start-up to ensure alignment between financial expectations and executionMonitor key performance metrics and provide regular insights and updates to senior leadershipLead financial governance processes, ensuring strong reporting, accountability, and follow-throughCollaborate cross-functionally to support pricing, business cases, and new initiativesBuild strong stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to improve processes and financial performanceAbout You
