Position: Financial Operations Officer II Role
Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Take charge as an Operations Officer II at a top financial institution. This hybrid role demands CSC certification and focuses on processing retirement plan transactions and compliance management.

The position requires 2-4 years of experience in banking or financial services. In addition, you’ll need a strong compliance background and proficiency with Microsoft 365. You will initially work on-site for 90 days, followed by a transition to a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Registered Retirement Plans according to CRA guidelines

• Handle tax compliance for withdrawal requests

• Manage internal partner requests via Salesforce

• Ensure precision while adhering to compliance regulations

• Work with teams to resolve processing discrepancies

Requirements:

• 2-4 years’ experience in banking or financial services

• Strong compliance experience is mandatory

• Familiarity with RRSP processes is preferred

• Background in back-office operations is essential

• University degree in Business or a related field
