The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on recruitment role focused on supporting high-volume hiring for healthcare and support positions, including caregivers, home support workers, CCAs, nurses, and related roles.
You will be involved in the full hiring process, from recruiting and screening candidates to coordinating interviews, onboarding, and ensuring required documentation is completed. This is a busy role where priorities can shift quickly, so the right person will be organized, comfortable with follow-up, and able to keep multiple candidates moving through the process at once.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate brings previous experience in recruitment, HR, staffing, or high-volume hiring experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
You are confident speaking with candidates, comfortable asking the right questions, and able to stay organized while managing a busy pipeline. You are also someone who communicates clearly, follows through, and understands the importance of hiring the right people into care-based roles.
This role would be a great fit for someone who likes structure, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in keeping things moving.
Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, interview, hire, and onboard candidates based on company needs
Support high-volume hiring for healthcare and support roles
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
Coordinate with internal team members regarding hiring needs and priorities
Follow established hiring processes and documentation requirements
Track candidate progress and update hiring/project management systems
Monitor and manage hiring platforms, including Indeed and other recruitment resources
Support outreach through community colleges, employment resources, and related organizations
Respond to applicants in a timely and professional manner
Maintain confidentiality of applicant, employee, and client information
Help ensure new hires reflect RW Healthcare’s values and service standards
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR, staffing, talent acquisition, or high-volume hiring preferred
Experience in healthcare, home care, staffing, or support services considered an asset
Comfortable managing a high-volume candidate pipeline
Strong technology skills, including Google Workspace and online hiring platforms would be an asset.
Experience with Indeed and digital onboarding/documentation tools considered an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and follow-through
Confident speaking with candidates and asking role-related questions
Positive, professional, and team-oriented approach
Strong attention to detail and discretion
Strong English communication and comprehension skills required
Salary $55,000
RRSP matching up to 4%
