In this temporary full-time role, you'll report to the Manager of Labour Relations & HR Partnerships. Collaborate closely with management, coaching leaders on labour relations and performance development, while navigating unionized complexities. Strong relationships with clients and Subject Matter Experts are crucial for understanding their needs and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult on employee and labor relations with clients
• Coach leadership on performance management and development
• Handle grievance and arbitration processes effectively
• Support attendance management and workforce planning
• Lead administrative investigations to ensure respectful workplaces
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
• 5+ years in HR consulting within unionized environments
• Knowledge of collective agreements and employment legislation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online recruitment systems
