KDFN Capital Contracts Management Supervisor

Lead the development of contracting strategies for capital projects with Kwanlin Dün First Nation as a Capital Contracts Management Supervisor. Your expertise will drive project execution and compliance.

This role, reporting to the Manager of Major Capital Projects, requires close collaboration with various stakeholders on contract creation and contractor management. Responsibilities include scope definition, budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You will also conduct site inspections and maintain inventory databases to support ongoing project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed budgets and contracting documentation

• Review bids and ensure contractor compliance with requirements

• Conduct inspections and report on community building conditions

• Organize records of correspondence and contracts

• Support financial responsibility through regular reporting

Requirements:

• Journeyperson designation or relevant diploma

• Experience in supervising contractors and project management

• Knowledge of safety practices and contract law

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Acceptable criminal records check and a valid driver’s license
