As a pivotal team leader within BMT's Technical Capability Department, you will manage and guide a portion of the Naval Architecture team. Your responsibilities include overseeing work assignments, conducting performance reviews, and supporting hiring processes. You will be instrumental in developing strategies that align with company goals and ensure team compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage team assignments and allocations
• Conduct personnel performance reviews and establish development plans
• Oversee timesheet approvals for direct reports
• Facilitate recruitment and training of new team members
• Organize team meetings to promote best practices
Requirements:
• Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Naval Architecture
• Eligible for Canadian security clearance
• Proven team leadership experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
