As the Leader Patient Flow Operations, you will have a pivotal role in nursing administration and patient care coordination. Reporting to the Access and Flow Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising staff and ensuring that staffing levels align with patient needs. Enhance the overall patient experience through strategic leadership and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee nursing staff and administration processes
• Coordinate safe and efficient patient care operations
• Manage utilization of beds and hospital resources
• Collaborate with diverse teams to address patient flow challenges
• Use sound judgment to implement improvements in care
Requirements:
• Registered or eligible with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• 3 years' medical/surgical experience in an acute environment
• 2 years' experience in nursing management
• BCLS required, ACLS is preferable
• Knowledge of French is an asset
