Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence
Travel daily between locations to support teams, conduct site inspections, and address operational needs
Screen, hire, and onboard janitorial staff, including conducting new employee orientations
Lead all aspects of workforce management, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and terminations
Manage and support a network of owner-operators, ensuring performance standards and service expectations are met
Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with contract terms and client expectations
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for service-related matters
Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and operational reports; implement improvements as needed
Manage and resolve service issues, work orders, and escalations in a timely and professional manner
Support budgeting, invoicing, and overall financial performance of assigned accounts
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying efficiencies in processes, procedures, and service delivery
Qualifications
Previous experience in operations management, facility services, property management, retail management or a similar leadership role is considered a strong asset
3–5 years of leadership experience, preferably overseeing multiple locations
Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industry standards is an asset
Proven people‑management skills, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Strong sense of urgency with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and deadlines effectively
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and deliver service excellence
Comfortable with a daily travel‑intensive role (80% local travel required) and flexible hours as needed (only occasional overnight depending on location)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work across multiple software platforms
